PROGRAM OVERVIEW

JUNE 11-JULY 1, 2019

Tampa Bay, FL - DIAVOLO partners with the STRAZ Center and USF to bring The Veterans Project to this vibrant community. Over the course of three intense weeks, Jacques Heim and a team of directors and dancers resided in Tampa Bay and conducted movement workshops and discussions for 13 local veterans and 12 local civilians. The program focused on connecting veterans and civilians in the Tampa community through DIAVOLO’s unique creative process. The participants continue to meet once a week under the direction of University of South Florida Dance Professor, John Parks, as they prepare for the October performance!

OCTOBER 25, 2019

The culmination of the three week residency program will be performed at the STRAZ Center alongside DIAVOLO Tour Company during The Congressional Medal of Honor Convention as part of an engagement activity for convention goers.
